All right y’all. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve written anything here, but we have been all over the place out here. So all over in fact that I’ll be giving this a title after it’s written, but here are some of our updates:

On Coming Home To Alaska
After spending almost a full year away, it’s good to finally be home. But, coming home to off grid Alaska means no time to relax! Since we’ve been gone so long we needed to bring quite a few supplies from town, just in case. And since we knew some things had broken before Kyle closed up, we needed some new things too. Kyle is holding down the fort at home, our daughter is having tons of fun playing with her cousin, and we’re both enjoying our extended vacation in Texas’s 80 degree winter days! Which brings me to this post, because I’ve learned quite a lot about bottle baby goats in the last few days, and that’s something that translates no matter where I’m at!
